Sekani spent most of the day playing in the sandbox with his shoes off and throwing a few rounds of frisbee. Friends, Naomi and Siddha, look on longingly.

A Look at Books and Movies
Pippi Longstocking is awesome for boys and girls. Sekani and his cousin, Essau, love Pippi. They want to be her brothers and live with her. I forgot that she has superhuman strength and lives a wonderfully wacky life. Also, I was proud to show Sekani a character created by a Swedish woman, part of his heritage. Long live Pippi.
